Tipp Art Fed Extra Credit

Every work at the show is deserved to be appreciated because they are the presentation of photographers' heavily brainstormed idea, and hard work.
While among those, two artists' works are my favorite.
I think this photo set did a successful job in arousing my curiosity of seeking the connection between the portrait and the facade, although I failed to come up with anything legit. Lynn told me that the idea is borrowed from Todd Hido, who did exactly the same thing as in this photo set. Then I understood that the intention is to let everyone feel puzzled and try to come up with their own version of the story behind this two images. This is why I was so attracted by this artwork. It's beautiful made but also very mysterious at the same time.

This one also falls into my category of great work because of the idea they are trying to convey, at least in my point of view. I guess the photographer was trying to say the beauty of the life is so instantaneous, just like fireworks. It is meant to just stay for that short amount of time and then fade away, not matter what we do. Even we naively think freezing the moment will let it stay forever, the beauty is going away anyhow. The flowers wither flowers on the two images are perfect indications of this kine of idea.
The magic of beauty is that it is not immortal, and only in this way could people appreciate all the beauties they encounter in their lives.

Workshop Shot

Made this little camera during the workshop. I tuned color to enhance the sense of the vibrance brought by the color paper and those stationaries. I also let the objects to touch the edge of the frame to create a sense of tension.

Speaking of the owner of this blog

Hi there

My name is Yuyang, it's close to You-Young if you want to practice pronouncing that. But Mark would be a easy way to remember.

I'm a senior student studying HTM, which is all about cooking tasty foods and all the other stuff related to hospitality industry. So no surprise if you see me working in a hotel or resort somewhere and someday in the future.
But I guess my second nature would be connected with photography and probably a little bit about design, these are the two areas that I am also craving for in terms of career path.
Currently my biggest dream is to work with one of my favorite car manufacture and shoot for its vehicles.

It's really nice to enjoy a semester with you guys, I'm sure I will be inspired by those great ideas coming out of your works!

Feel free to check out my personal website and Instagram and leave some koodos, hates and comments:)
